BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Bianchera is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Milan.
Born in Desenzano del Garda in 1999, he moved to Milan at age 19 to study photography at the renowned Bauer Academy.
Rooted in music culture and contemporary identity, his work navigates the intersection of documentary intimacy and stylized narrative — often blurring the line between raw reality and constructed image.
Early in his career, Andrea began collaborating with some of Italy’s most influential artists — including Marracash, Sfera Ebbasta, and Marco Mengoni — quickly becoming a trusted eye behind the scenes of the country’s evolving music scene.
His work is marked by an ability to distill the emotional pulse of a subject, whether in a fleeting backstage moment or a meticulously composed editorial frame.
In 2022, he published his first monograph, Io, Loro, Gli Altri (Rizzoli), a photographic chronicle that documents the inner world of Marracash through a lens that is both tender and unflinching.
Praised for its cinematic tone and deeply human approach, the book helped establish Andrea as a distinct visual voice of his generation.
Driven by a fascination with cultural texture and personal mythology, Andrea continues to explore new visual languages across still images.
His practice today spans editorial, fashion, and experimental film — all grounded in a photographic instinct that feels both visceral and intentional.
